As Storm Moves Into Arizona Temperatures Drop, Winds Increase

It should be windy and much cooler over the next couple days as a Pacific storm system moves through Arizona . Darrel Onton of the National Weather Service in Flagstaff says winds will be increasing as the storm approaches.

“With some gusts exceeding 50 miles per hours in the northeastern part of the state, as well as some blowing dust out in the Little Colorado River valley,” Onton said.

He says there will be some rain in most areas and even some snow above the 6,500 foot level in northern Arizona . And, he says temperatures will be 10-to-15 degrees cooler by tomorrow.
