Phoenix City Council Runoff Races Are Tightly Contested

The Phoenix City Council is in the midst of change. Once results are official following Election Day on Nov. 5, there will be two new members of the council. One will come from District 8 in south Phoenix. The two finalists in a runoff are Kate Gallego and Pastor Warren Stewart.

The runoff to represent District 8 on the Phoenix City Council is tightly contested. Arizona Republic's Dustin Gardiner gave some insights on that race and the runoff in District 4.
