Arizona Attorney General Tom Horne has been under nearly constant fire, mostly related to accusations that he violated campaign finance laws, though some have been of a more personal nature.
On the campaign finance front, Yavapai County Attorney Sheila Polk has become the second prosecutor to determine that an independent expenditure committee, Business Leaders For Arizona, had illegally coordinated efforts with Horne’s 2010 campaign. Earlier this week, Horne again denied the allegations.
So where does this leave Tom Horne politically, especially among likely Republican voters and those who tend to be conservative? Shane Wikfors of the Sonoran Alliance Website and owner of Red Mountain Consulting gave his point of view.
