Two Past Hopi Tribe Vice Chairmen To Face Each Other In General Election

Two men who have served as vice chairman of the Hopi Tribe appear to be headed to the general election to face off for the chairman's post.

Unofficial results from the tribe's primary election Wednesday show Herman Honanie and Todd Honyaoma Sr. topping the list of eight candidates. Honanie is the current vice chairman. Honyaoma resigned as vice chairman in late 2008.

The general election is Nov. 20.
