Temperatures Will Dip A Few Degrees This Weekend

Look for temperatures to dip a few degrees Friday and Saturday before bouncing up early next week. Additionally, parts of the state will see some rain and snow.

National Weather Service meteorologist Gary Zell in Tucson says the storm will bring rain to the desert areas of southern Arizona and snow to the mountain areas.

“Be careful out there if you’re driving along the Rim country, and the White Mountains and Mt. Lemmon, any of those mountain communities,” Zell said. “Especially above 7,000 feet, there will be some snow.”

Zell says the warmest temperatures will come in the early to middle part of next week, with the desert areas peaking in the low- to mid-70s.
