Arizona Gas Prices Are Flat

Gas prices in Arizona are basically the same this week as last, even as the national average rose more than three cents.

Arizonans this week are paying an average of $3.14 a gallon. That is also pretty close to what it was last year at this time. It is more than a dime cheaper than the national average.

Tucson drivers pay the cheapest average price in the state, while Flagstaff has the highest.

AAA Arizona said prices around the country are on the rise because of road-trips during the holidays. Almost 86 million Americans are expected to drive to get where they are going this season.

Nationwide, Missouri has the lowest average gas price, while Connecticut has the highest.
