A new report shows employment in Arizona grew by almost 2 percent between November 2012 and November of 2013.
The most recent market review by the New Mexico Workforce Solutions Department shows Texas led the region in job growth during that 12-month period, at 2.5 percent, followed by Utah, Colorado and Arizona at 1.9 percent. New Mexico had the slowest job growth among the nine states in the region, 0.2 percent. Nationally, the job growth rate was 1.7 percent for the same period.
Overall, the report shows North Dakota with the highest year-over-year job growth in the country, at 4 percent. Texas came in second, Utah sixth, Colorado ninth, Arizona 11th and Nevada 12th.
