One of the priorities when the legislature begins its 2014 session next week, and could draw bipartisan support, is the restoration of money to the Highway User Revenue Fund. HURF as it is more commonly known is used for road and street repair, but since 2002, nearly $750 million have been diverted toward other priorities.
