Restoring Money To Highways Is A Legislative Priority

One of the priorities when the legislature begins its 2014 session next week, and could draw bipartisan support, is the restoration of money to the Highway User Revenue Fund. HURF as it is more commonly known is used for road and street repair, but since 2002, nearly $750 million have been diverted toward other priorities.

Ken Strobeck of the League of Arizona Cities and Towns and Chris Fetzer, executive director of the Northern Arizona Council of Governments, weighed in.
