The Arizona Department of Water Resources is starting a 36-city tour of the state to present its strategic vision for water supply sustainability. ADWR Director Sandy Fabritz-Whitney said this is a new approach for the agency. As Arizona plans its future water supply, California recently declared a drought emergency.
State climatologist Dr. Nancy Selover talked about Arizona's situation. She is also a member of the governor’s drought task force.
