U.S. Sen. John McCain said he is thinking of running for the Senate again. McCain credits his party’s censure against him as his motivation .

Sen. McCain said he has a strong conservative voting record, and his fight against "Obamacare" is one example of that. The Arizona Republican Party committee met over the weekend in Tempe and voted to censure the senator. They claim he has a liberal record that has been disastrous and harmful to the state.

Censures have no real effect on politicians, but they can be embarrassing. McCain said he blames the attack on uninformed extremists and said he is now seriously considering running for a sixth Senate term.
