If you spend time in the northeast Valley, you may have noticed the skies are a little busier this time of year. The combination of the Waste Management Phoenix Open, Barrett-Jackson Car Auction and spring training baseball have brought a lot of flights into the Scottsdale Airport, which does not allow commercial aircraft and does not plan to do so anytime soon. Gary Mascaro is the airport’s aviation director.
