Arizona voters will soon have a new way to impact legislation at the state Capitol. A new website will allow registered voters to suggest legislation and voice their opinions on measures in the legislative process, according to Secretary of State Ken Bennett.
“This is going to allow people 24/7 to weigh in on how public policy is being developed here in the state, here at the Legislature,” Bennett said.
He said the website will cost taxpayers nothing and might even result in better legislation as lawmakers hear from more of their constituents.
