The Arizona Super Bowl host committee is joining Copperpoint Mutual Insurance and Freeport McMoran to present the Business Connect program to leverage the biggest sporting event of the year for its economic value to small businesses. Phyllis Senseman of Copperpoint Mutual said they are trying to teach businesses how to take advantage of potential opportunities.
“The goal is to be an economic engine for business here in Arizona and not just, you know dollars that might go elsewhere, but to, to allow some of the businesses here to participate," said Senseman.
Senseman said business that sign up for the sessions will be able to participate in the Business Connect resource guide, a database of available services the NFL and its affiliates will use for Super Bowl-related events and activities, but she said seats for the sessions are limited.
