Part of the architecture at Cosanti.

Since we are all getting older, let's tick off another item on the Phoenix bucket list. For some, a bucket list is about traveling to exotic places or trying something completely out of their comfort range, like jumping out of a plane.

We are teaming up with Robrt Pela and Amy Silverman of Phoenix New Times on the list of things you have got to do in Phoenix before you die. It is delicately titled, "100 Things To Do In Phoenix Before You Die."

I met with Silverman in Paradise Valley and kind of stepped into the way-back machine at Cosanti, Paolo Soleri’s home and studio. Quick note and a lesson here, the noise you hear behind  Silverman is what happens when you conduct an interview at a bell foundry.

Cosanti was one of the items on her Phoenix Bucket List. We will be visiting more spots on the list over the next few weeks.
