Weekend To See Temperature Drop, High Chance Of Rain

In Arizona we’ve been seeing some unseasonably warm, record-breaking temperatures, but this weekend conditions are taking a turn.

Marvin Percha, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service, says a storm will move into the Valley on Saturday bringing major change with it.

“It’s going to be bringing us a real good chance for rain out here, possibly heavy,” Percha said “We’ll drop temperatures as well from the highs that we’re forecasting around 80 or so down into to the low to mid 60s for Saturday and Sunday.”

Percha says following the wet and cool weather from the weekend storm, the Valley looks like it will be drying out again.
