Arizona Sen. John McCain is backing a call by California’s Diane Feinstein for an investigation of the CIA. In fact, McCain believes the probe should be widened to call the entire agency into question.
“There’s got to be a fundamental reevaluation of the role of the CIA,” McCain said.
Sen. Feinstein, chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee, is calling for the investigation because she said the CIA hacked into the Intelligence Committee’s computers in an effort to block an investigation into water boarding and other interrogation practices.
