We start with a review of the 2014 legislative session so far. When the session got underway in January, there was a lot of buzz about what should be changed about Arizona’s Child Protective Services agency. That is still in the mix, but then considerable attention at the Capitol turned to SB1062, the controversial religious freedom bill vetoed by Gov. Jan Brewer.
So where do things stand in the legislature right now and what else, other than the all-important budget, remains to be done? We got opinions from House Minority Leader Chad Campbell and Republican Rep. J.D. Mesnard.
