House Committee OKs Money For Outside CPS Review

An Arizona House panel has signed off on a plan to spend $250,000 for an outside review of the state's child protective services.

The bill approved by the Appropriations Committee calls for the state to hire an independent consultant with expertise in child welfare.

It requires the consultant to deliver a report by March 31, 2015.
