New Federal Rules Target Some For-Profit Universities

Last week, the Obama administration moved to crack down on for-profit career training colleges. The so-called gainful employment regulation could shut down hundreds of degree programs if they do not end up putting graduates in well-paying jobs.

Kelly Field writes about federal higher education policy for the Chronicle of Higher Education. Field and Grand Canyon University President Brian Mueller weighed in.
