A dust storm can be seen rolling into the East Valley from the KJZZ studios in Tempe.

Hold onto your hat. Things are about to get windy in Arizona .

National Weather Service meteorologist Justin Jondrow in Flagstaff said a cold front moving in from California could bring high winds and blowing dust.

“We’re looking at winds anywhere between 20 and 35 miles an hour sustained, with gusts in the 40-to-50 miles an hour range," Jondrow said.

Jondrow says northeastern Arizona will be most susceptible to the high winds and blowing dust, and he says high profile vehicles could have driving difficulties, with visibilities being reduced to possibly as low as a quarter mile.
