Talks will resume Monday between Republicans in the state House and Senate in an attempt to reach a compromise budget agreement.
Senate President Andy Biggs says his members need to actually see the language in the compromise legislation before it can be approved.
“One of our problems last time is we had some typos in there that we didn’t catch, so we had to fix those,” Biggs said. “So you can have everything as small as typos to the need to change some number around in there, so we have to see what happens.”
The two sides disagree on funding amounts for child welfare reform and education, including charter school funding.
