Not All Implications Of Earlier Fire Season Are Bad

Fire restrictions went into effect Friday on several of Arizona’s national forests as well as on state-owned and managed lands. The restrictions aim to prevent human-caused wildfires, and are generally going into effect earlier than in past years.

ASU Fire Historian Steve Pyne says there are implications of an earlier fire season - but they’re not all bad.
