A weather system moving into Arizona will bring us windy conditions Friday and a cooler, wetter weekend.
Meteorologist Jessica Nolte of the National Weather Service in Phoenix says temperatures will be about 20 degrees cooler Saturday.
“The strongest winds are expected overnight Friday and into Saturday morning, where we could see some 30 mile per hour gusts in the evening on Friday and then 35 mile per hour gusts during the day on Saturday,” Nolte said.
She says there is quite a bit of cold air with the system, which should give us highs in the upper 80s to lower 90s Friday but drop into the low-70s during the day Saturday.
