Phoenix Police Shut Down Day Spas For Prostitution

Phoenix police have shut down a pair of day spas they say were operating as houses of prostitution.

Detective James Holmes says four people were arrested after workers offered undercover detectives sex for money at Eurostyle Day Spa locations that were part of the four-month investigation,

“These things are operating in a strip mall,” Holmes said. “There’s other businesses around. The service is certainly disruptive to the good proprietors who are attempting to make a living.”

Holmes says the investigation began when officers received a tip about young girls being involved in prostitution at the spas. Fortunately, he said detectives found no juvenile involvement.
