Earlier this month, Phoenix recorded the first temperature over 100 degrees, but Valley weather quickly cooled after that. This week, those warm temperatures will be back. National Weather Service forecaster Mark O’Malley says to get prepared for the warm months ahead.
“This is a good time to plan ahead what you’re going to do this summer to keep yourself cool and hydrated, and be prepared for the hot temperatures that cause injury across the state every year,” O’Malley said.
Phoenix metro area temperatures will reach 100 degrees by Thursday and will hit 104 degrees by Friday and Saturday.
