A crowded field of Republican candidates for governor continues to wait for one key shoe to drop: the endorsement of Gov. Jan Brewer.
That’s something Brewer says is not going to come easily. She says she wants to endorse a candidate who will continue her policies.
“We have been through some times the last five and a half years here in Arizona and I laid out a very strategic plan,” Brewer said. “I would like to see that plan carried forward.”
Brewer says that means continuing along the same lines on illegal immigration and economic expansion. The governor is not saying what she plans to do when she leaves office, except that she has no plans to sit back and do nothing.
