The Slide Fire in northern Arizona is now fully contained after burning around Oak Creek Canyon for more than two weeks.
Fire officials say that crews continue to monitor the fire perimeter and that many areas within the canyon are still closed to the public. They say the fire is at 31 square miles and has cost more than $10 million to fight so far.
The blaze began May 20 near Slide Rock State Park in an area between Sedona and Flagstaff. About 300 residents and business owners were forced to evacuate. They were allowed to return to their property on last week.
The Slide Fire is believed to be human caused and remains under investigation.
