Investigations that are focused on Attorney General Tom Horne are nothing new. But now the AG’s office has opened an internal investigation that will be led by a couple of outside lawyers—lobbyist and former state lawmaker John Kaites, and Dave Derickson, who is a criminal defense attorney.
Some critics have expressed concerns that both Kaites and Derickson have donated to Horne campaigns in the past.
