What Triggers A Dust Storm Warning?

The Valley’s brief respite from dust storms could come to an end in the next few days. Cell phones have been ringing with dust storm warnings, and there are a few factors that go into issuing one.

Waters says he needs to know the current conditions and whether strong winds are possible.

Waters says the big dust storm areas tend to be along I-10 near Picacho Peak and I-8 west of Casa Grande.
