The USS Arizona has been underwater since the Japanese bombed it in 1941.

But the National Park Service is teaming up with a San Francisco-based software company to check on the ship’s condition now.

Pete Kelsey, strategic projects executive for the firm Autodesk, says workers are using using laser, acoustic and photo based tools on the project.

Kelsey says the team is about 80 percent done - and hopes to have a 3D printout of the entire ship ready by Pearl Harbor Day in December.
