1,000 New People Register To Vote In Maricopa County

Monday was the last day for voters to register before the primary election.

One thousand new people registered to vote in Maricopa County. There were nearly 2 million registered in the county as of July of this year.

The state hasn’t reported numbers from the newest registration yet, but as of March more than 3.2 million people were signed up to vote and there were 100,000 more voters than the midterm elections of 2010, which was 3.14 million.

The primary election is August 26 and the general election is November 4.
