We're only 13 days away from primary election day in Arizona, and if you want to request an early ballot, you've only got two days left to do it. At this point, nearly 76,000 independents requested early ballots in Maricopa County — more than 45,000 wanted a Republican ballot.
That probably speaks to how many competitive Republican races there are compared to Democratic races.
But Robert Graham, chair of the state GOP party, says it actually means Democrats have implemented a strategy in the races for governor, attorney general and secretary of state, denying Democrats and independents the opportunity to choose a nominee.
