The Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community election results are in. Delbert Ray Sr. has been elected to the office of the president.
He won 60 percent of the vote among enrolled tribal members.
Incumbent Vice President Martin Harvier was re-elected to his position. Four new council members and a chief judge were also voted into office after Tuesday’s election.
