The clean-up of a sinkhole that collapsed under the weight of a city bus Wednesday, is going to take a while. Melissa Quillard of the city of Tempe says they’re targeting next Wednesday to have the problem on McClintock Road, north of Apache Boulevard repaired.
“People in the area should plan ahead and expect some traffic delays just because those northbound lanes are restricted and there are some turning restrictions as well. So, just plan ahead, allow yourself plenty of time," Quillard said.
Quillard says the water and gas lines in the area have been repaired but the costs of the repairs are not yet known.
