In recent decades, there’s been a growing number of single-parent households. Some are the result or divorce or death. Others are by choice or even happenstance. But being without a spouse or partner doesn’t reduce the responsibility of raising children.
We talked with Shawn Eckert of the Scottsdale Single Dads Meetup group, along with Susan Forkos and Angela Mayo of the Scottsdale Single Parents Meetup group about how their connection to other single parents has expanded their vision of community.
