Democratic National Committee Considers Phoenix For 2016 Convention

Officials with the Democratic National Committee were in Phoenix this week - the city is a finalist to host the party’s 2016 national convention. Members of the DNC’s technical advisory committee came to town to check out its facilities, including hotels, the convention center and Chase Field. Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton says this week’s meetings mainly dealt with logistics.
