Like a lot of non-profit arts groups in the state, Arizona Theatre Company was hit hard by the great recession. On top of that, the company had some upheaval in its leadership.
But now the company says it’s on more solid ground with some good fundraising and a new interim managing director, Matt Lehrman, who was the founder and CEO of Alliance for Audience and ShowUp.com
We spoke with Lehrman and artistic director David Ira Goldstein.
