Unlike many election years in Arizona, 2014 has a small number of ballot initiatives.
Arguably the most complex is proposition 487, which will ask city of Phoenix voters to decide on a pension reform plan.
The measure will be considered by Arizona’s first Citizens’ Initiative Review, which is being held by ASU’s Morrison Institute for Public Policy Thursday, Sept. 18 through Sunday, Sept. 21.
We spoke with Andrea Whitsett and Joe Garcia of Morrison about the process behind the review.
