It probably won’t feel like it this weekend when we have the potential to hit triple-digits for what should be the last time this year, but cooler temperatures are not that far away.
The National Weather Service is projecting a high of 100-degrees for tomorrow, but meteorologist Chris Brekenridge says we should be in the mid-90s Sunday and the low 90s by the end of next week.
“We’re sort of in that transition period right now, where we get some cooler airmasses moving in, cooling down at night and even during the day, but we probably will be looking at some more fall-like temperatures as we get into the latter part of October,” Breckenridge said.
Breckenridge says the average high temperature starts dropping to the low ‘80’s this month. He said by the 29th of October, the average high will be 83 degrees. But today and tomorrow, we’ll have to suffer through two more days of summer-like temps.
