Governor Jan Brewer is going to China Thursday for a trade mission. She will be trying to bring manufacturers to Arizona.
Brewer will visit Beijing, Shangai with members of the Arizona Commerce Authority. The agency offers incentives to businesses to relocate to Arizona.
The goal of the trip is to bring manufacturers to Arizona as part of Brewer's job-creation initiative.
China is Arizona’s third-largest trading partner. The U.S. Census reported that in 2013 Arizona exported more than $1 billion in goods to China.
This is Brewer's second trip to the country.
