Monday marks the deadline for Shanesha Taylor to move $60,000 into a trust fund for her children.
Taylor is the Phoenix single mom who was charged by prosecutors for leaving her children in the car while she attended a job interview.
Prosecutors agreed to dismiss the charges if Taylor met a series of requirements, including putting thousands of dollars in donations to her cause aside for her children.
The Taylor situation brings into focus the difficulties homeless people—especially those with children—have in searching for a job.
We spoke with Mark Holleran, the CEO of Central Arizona Shelter Services, about that.
