Big weather changes are coming to the Valley. National Weather Service meteorologist Chris Breckinridge says above normal temperatures over the next few days will take a dramatic plunge by the weekend.
“We’ll be dropping down into the lower 80s at 82 for Saturday and on Sunday it should be fairly pleasant, because we’re finally going to go well below normal, like from 10 degrees above normal, to the 70s,” Breckinridge said.
The Phoenix-metro area will see highs in the low 90s over the next two days, which is nearly 10 degrees above normal. But a low pressure system will cool temperatures by up to 20 degrees on Sunday with a predicted high of 74 degrees.
