As voters are set to return politicians to office or elect new ones next week, an exhibit at ASU looks at some of Arizona’s political firsts. The show is called “Political Trailblazers on Campaign,” and includes memorabilia from politicos like Alfredo Gutierrez, Ed Pastor and Peterson Zah.

The exhibit comes from the collections of the Labriola National American Indian Data Center and the Chicano Research Collection, each at ASU.

I met up with Nancy Godoy, Curator of the Chicano Research Collection at ASU, and Joyce Martin, Curator of the Labriola National American Indian Data Center.

The exhibit, “Political Trailblazers on Campaign,” will be up until January.
