As Arizona State University prepares to take on Notre Dame this Saturday at Sun Devil Stadium, students are just around the corner camping out for tickets.
ASU’s Associate Athletic director Bill Kennedy believes what students call “Camp Fargo” allows students to get excited for the entire week, not just on game day. But what about classes students are supposed to be attending?
Typically what happens is they’ll get a group of friends to go," Kennedy said. "All we really require is that at least one person be at the campsite at a time, so they’ll take turns. While some of them go to class, others will be there holding the campsite down and they’ll exchange the favor after that.”
There are 13,000 student tickets available and won’t be distributed until game day.
