The Phoenix VA Health Care System has a new interim director. This is the hospital’s third interim director since May.
Glen Grippen’s term will start Monday, Nov. 17.
He is a former director of the VA hospital in Milwaukee. He is expected to stay as the Phoenix director for a year. Grippen replaces current interim director Glen Costie.
Phoenix Director Sharon Helman was placed on paid leave in May after the inspector general’s report held her responsible for manipulation of patient appointment data.
