Court To Decide If Lawmakers Can Sue Over Arizona Medicaid Expansion

The Arizona Supreme Court is deciding whether a group of GOP state lawmakers has the right to sue over last year’s vote to expand Arizona’s Medicaid program.

The issue has so far gotten mixed judicial rulings. A trial court ruled the lawmakers did not have standing, while the Court of Appeals ruled they could sue.

Howie Fischer of Capitol Media Services was in the courtroom in Tucson yesterday.
