The former Owner of Danny’s Family Car Wash was sentenced to a year in prison for hiring more than 200 unauthorized immigrants.
Daniel Hendon pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit identify theft in July.
In 2013, Immigrations and Customs Enforcement conducted a massive raid at several Danny’s Family Car Wash locations in the Valley. He will spend 12 months in prison and 12 months in home detention. More than a dozen of his employees were charged for knowingly hiring unauthorized workers.
At his sentencing Hendon apologized as he sobbed. He said he was really sorry and that there was no excuse for his actions.
