An artist best known for massive steel and concrete sculptures has an exhibit of smaller pieces in Phoenix.

The Mexican-born Sebastian has done pieces around the world, including Japan, Mexico and the U.S., and now has a show at Bentley Gallery in conjunction with the Mexican Consulate in Phoenix.

I spoke with Sebastian and his daughter Gabriela Carbajal, who translated for him, and asked him to describe his art.

The exhibit of his work will be on display at Bentley Gallery in Phoenix through mid-January.
