Storm System To Bring Rain And Cooler Temperatures To The Valley

Temperatures across the Valley recently have been about 10 degrees above normal, but that’s going to change this weekend, as a low-pressure system moves through the area.

The storm system currently bringing high winds and rain to northern California will be moving south.

Marvin Percha, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service, said the Valley won’t get those strong winds but can expect a good bit of rain.

"Perhaps anywhere from about a third to a half an inch, and it will take our temperatures down into the 60s for Saturday and Sunday," he said.

Percha said temperatures will return to the low 70s by Monday but are expected to drop again next week when another system moves through the area.
