State, federal, county and municipal agencies have conducted their annual operation to apprehend fugitives.
The raids targeted the Phoenix, Tucson and Yuma areas and resulted in 197 arrests, according to the U.S. Marshals Service.
The operation, conducted Tuesday through Thursday, targeted people with outstanding arrest warrants for things like robbery, burglary, theft and larceny.
Law enforcement officials say the operation not only gets fugitives off the street but helps prevent property-related offenses, historically associated with the holiday season.
Of the nearly 200 arrests, 131 were from the Phoenix area, with 48 in the area around Tucson and 18 in the Yuma area.
